The idea:
Nobody' perfect. Many people deeply care about climate change but feel overwhelmed, stuck in a cycle of inaction due to climate anxiety. The sheer scale of the crisis can make individual efforts seem insignificant, leading to a “freeze” response rather than meaningful action. This can create a negative feedback loop for individuals, since climate conscious people stated they feel worse after feeling like they aren't making any meaningful contributions.  

Ecovolve exists to make climate action easier, more accessible, and more rewarding. We take the guesswork out of sustainable choices by doing the heavy lifting—researching, vetting, and curating the best sustainable products and solutions into a seamless, one-stop marketplace.

To refine our approach, we launched a pilot email campaign to develop our brand’s voice and assess engagement. Our efforts gained traction, and we entered the Climate Change Special Competition of the 2023 CU Boulder New Venture Challenge. We were honored to be named finalists, advancing to the live pitch round at Google in Boulder, Colorado.
